Grover Hogan (they/them) is a queer, Black and Mexican artist from Houston, Texas, currently based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. They received their Bachelor of Fine Arts from Minneapolis College of Art and Design in Fine Arts Studio, Drawing and Painting, with a minor in Teaching Art.

Grover has been featured in Teen Vogue, Houstonia Magazine, Minnesota Women's Press, and various other publications as a model and artist. As a muralist, they have worked with Forecast Public Art, Creatives after Curfew, and Midtown Global Market on projects throughout the Twin Cities. Currently, they are an artist in residence at Public Functionary’s Studio 400 incubator program.

Grover's work focuses on their relationship to their identity, their performance of social roles, and how they navigate hierarchies within a white supremacist culture. They utilize queer iconography, "cheap" materials, depictions of violence, and religious motifs to highlight these intersections between self perception, labor, sexuality, and spirituality. These themes and materials culminate to both blur and divide the lines between being pleasured and giving pleasure. See Grover’s work at groverhogan.com and on Instagram @ThriftShopTV.
